Public Consultation RPM Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Telecommunications Equipment
In order to implement the provisions of Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Formation of Legislative Regulations and its amendments regarding community participation in the preparation of statutory regulations, it is deemed necessary to carry out public consultation on the Draft Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics concerning Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Devices. Telecommunication.
The draft Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics concerning Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Telecommunications Equipment was prepared in order to adapt the provisions regarding certification of telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment which have been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 16 of 2018 concerning Operational Provisions for Certification of Equipment and/or Postal and Informatics Equipment with the provisions in Government Regulation Number 46 of 2021 concerning Post, Telecommunications and Broadcasting.
The Draft Minister of Communication and Information Technology Regulation concerning Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Telecommunications Equipment regulates, among other things:
1. adjustment of technical standard terms for telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment in accordance with the provisions of Government Regulation Number 46 of 2023 concerning Post, Telecommunications and Broadcasting;
2. provisions regarding the issuance of certificates for telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment;
3. provisions regarding changes to certificates for telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment;
4. labels and warning signs on telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment;
5. submission of data and information via the official website of the Directorate General of SDPPI and the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system;
6. telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment certificate fees;
7. prohibited telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment;
8. supervision and control;
9. administrative sanctions;
10. other provisions;
11. closing provisions; And
12. Attachment to the label format and warning signs for telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications equipment.
To improve and provide an opportunity for the public to submit responses/input on the Draft Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, a public consultation will be held until 17 November 2023 and responses/input can be submitted via electronic mail to the address wahy001@kominfo.go.id , fauz001@ kominfo.go.id, lign001@kominfo.go.id , and rina001@kominfo.go.id .
